NEXT GENERATION ENERGY ALTERNATIVES, INC.

 
NEXT GENERATION ENERGY ALTERNATIVES, INC. (NGEA) is a registered charity whose mission is to fight global climate change. NGEA aims to rent roof space (for a nominal fee) on large buildings in Toronto where NGEA-owned photovoltaic (PV) systems can be mounted. Clean electricity generated by NGEA-owned PV systems will be sold to Toronto Hydro under Ontario's Feed-in Tariff (FIT) programme. The FIT programme requires utilities to purchase power generated by renewable energy technologies, such as PV systems, for 20 years at a guaranteed price. Revenues from NGEA-owned PV systems will be used to rent more roof space where more NGEA-owned PV systems can be mounted.

NGEA also provides workshops regarding deployment of PV systems on large buildings in Toronto.

Sale of life memberships in NGEA will finance NGEA-owned rooftop PV installations on large urban buildings.

No member of NGEA will benefit finanacially from belonging to NGEA. All NGEA revenues will be used for NGEA's mission to fight global climate change.

NGEA's Board of Directors consists of unpaid volunteers with expertise in law, communications, and administration of non-profit/charitable organizations.
