NEXT GENERATION ENERGY ALTERNATIVES INCORPORATED (NGEA) is a registered charity whose mission to to fight global climate change by renting roof space on large buildings in Toronto where NGEA-owned photovoltaic (PV) system will be mounted. Clean power from NGEA-owned PV systems will be sold to Toronto Hydro under Ontario's Feed-in Tariff (FIT) programme, which guarantees prices for PV power for 20 years. FIT revenues from NGEA-owned PV systems will be used to rent more roof space where more NGEA-owned PV systems can be mounted. Clean power generated by PV systems does not produce carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases which contribute to global climate change. NGEA also provides public education workshops regarding deployment of PV systems on large residential buildings in Toronto. NGEA’s Board of Directors consists of unpaid volunteers with expertise in law, communications, and administration of non-profit/charitable organizations. March, 2010
